Hospitality Course Structure

SIT30816-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Current)

The SIT30816-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is studied over 52 weeks, four 10 week terms. There is a two-week break between these terms.

Cambridge International College works closely with each student to develop a strong theoretical knowledge base, as well as providing a five-star practical experience program at various hotels in Perth – all practical cookery classes are delivered off-site from commercial kitchens in these hotels.

A new knife kit and full uniform are provided to every student enrolled in this course

SIT40516-Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (Current)

The SIT40516-Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is studied over 78 weeks, six 10 week terms. This includes the full SIT30816-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery qualification. There is a two-week break between each term.

Duration is shortened to 26 weeks/2 terms if a student has completed the SIT30816-Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

The SIT50416-Diploma of Hospitality is studied over four, 10-week terms. There is a two-week break between each term.

With the successful completion of the SIT40516 Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery students can complete the Diploma in 26 weeks/2 terms.
