State Government funding in the education sector is undergoing significant changes that will result in greater accessibility to training for all. These changes will be rolled out over time with the first implementation occurring July 1st 2009 in Victoria.
At Cambridge we believe there is little point offering ‘training for the sake of training’.
Cambridge International College aim is to work closely with organisations creating a synergy between the RTO and the community service provider. We know from experience that when this relationship is strong it leads to greater employment outcomes for the participants.
We are firm believers that a work experience component is incorporated into the class-room teaching as learning is reinforced and people gain valuable ‘real’ knowledge regarding the ‘world at work’. Ideally work experience will lead to employment.
Our training recognises that people have different needs, are motivated differently and learn differently.
Cambridge campuses are based in the heart of the city making them accessible to participants. We know from experience that sometimes training is best in the client’s local community and we are willing to come to you or the community group.
Cambridge College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering approximately 22 nationally accredited courses.
I would be happy to come out and talk to you regarding the above and to see how we could develop the training and job network arrangements in a better way.
Feel free to contact us to find out more about what we can provide. Ask us about ESL and non-accredited life skills courses that can be embedded into our accredited programs that improves opportunities and job outcomes for your clients.
