The Certificate III in Hairdressing (WRH30106) is the industry standard qualification. The course provides trainees with the necessary practical skills of cutting, styling and colouring hair. Trainees who wish to enhance the practical skills of hairdressing have the opportunity to undertake the Certificate IV in Hairdressing (WRH40106). Upon successful completion of the Certificate III in Hairdressing trainees can progress to the Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) (WRH50106).
The Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) provides trainees with more complex instruction across a broad range of technical and management components of the hairdressing industry. Trainees will gain more in depth experience in developing strategic initiatives as well as a broad base of managerial skills necessary to the successful operation of a hairdressing salon.

Qualification & Recognition
On successful completion of these courses, students are awarded the Certificate III in Hairdressing, Certificate IV in Hairdressing and a Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) depending on the mode of study.
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisations may be recognised by Cambridge International College.

Assessment include a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
Upon completion students will have gained the skills and knowledge to commence work as a hairdresser, salon operator or as a sales consultant for hair products.
Graduates of the Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) will gain entry into the Bachelor of Business (CRICOS 054481J) at Central Queensland University (Melbourne Campus).
The Certificate III in Hairdressing is delivered over five, 9 week terms with 1 one break between terms. The Certificate IV in Hairdressing is delivered over one, 13 week term. The Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) is delivered over three, 9 week terms.
The study mode for the Certificate III in Hairdressing and Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) is full time and consists of 20 hours per week; 16 contact hours and 4 hours off campus learning activities. The Certificate IV in Hairdressing is full time and consists of 35 hours per week. Trainees have the option to study in a daytime or evening schedule subject to availability.
