The Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-Press) (ICP30205) is an introductory course for those wishing to gain a broad and thorough knowledge of the Printing and Graphic Arts industry. The course focuses on developing pre-press skills in typography, design and layout, preparation of files for print, scanning images, image outputting, imposition and a range of current industry software applications.
On successful completion of this course, students are eligible to receive a Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-Press).
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation may be recognised by Cambridge International College.

Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
On successful completion of the Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-Press) the trainee will have gained the skills and knowledge to work as a pre-press tradesperson
Graduates of this course may continue to study at Cambridge International College by enrolling into the the Diploma of Interactive Digital Media.
The Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Graphic Pre-Press) is delivered over four, 9 weeks terms, with a 1 week break between terms. Intakes in April, July, September and November include a compulsory summer term.
The study mode is full time and consists of 20 hours per week in Adelaide and 16 contact hours and 4 hours off campus learning activities in Melbourne and Perth. Trainees have the option to study in a daytime or evening schedule subject to availability.
