The Certificate III in Hairdressing is the industry standard qualification. The course exposes trainees to the necessary practical skills of cutting, styling and colouring hair as well as an introduction to business management, planning and leadership skills. Trainees who wish to enhance the practical skills of cutting, styling and colouring hair have the opportunity to undertake the Certificate IV in Hairdressing. Upon successful completion of the Certificate III in Hairdressing trainees can progress to the Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) course.
The Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Management) provides trainees with more complex instruction across a broad range of technical and management components of the hairdressing industry. Trainees will gain more in depth experience in developing strategic initiatives as well as a broad base of managerial skills necessary to the successful operation of a Hairdressing Salon.

On successful completion of this course, students are eligible to receive Certificate III in Hairdressing, Certificate IV in Hairdressing and or Diploma of Hairdressing (Salon Managmenet) depending on the mode of study.
Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisations may be recognised by Cambridge International College.

Assessment may be a combination of written and online assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
Graduates of this course can pursue a range of employment and career opportunities across a range of sales and marketing roles. The roles can include sales trainees, retail sales assistants, marketing assistants or coordinators, account service officers and managers.
Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in marketing with a range of Australian Universities.
